This gem was incredibly good! Featured on the food network channel and I can see why! They open at 11am on Sundays and we were almost the first people in line. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. And very flavorful! The prices are incredible! Each plate comes with 3 sides and a meat. I live in Atlanta and a plate like that will start at $20 and above. We paid $13.50 for each plate. It can get busy and it is relatively small. There is room to sit in and eat. It is decorated like your grandma house in the 90’s so it’s giving that old school southern style feeling. Nostalgia vibes back when grandma was in the kitchen cooking up good soup food! We will be sure to come back during our next visit to Savannah!

My girlfriend and I found this place while on vacation and had amazing food. We had the lunch special which was a 2pc and two sides cornbread and a drink. I had greens and mac and cheese and everything was outstanding and cheap about $18 for the two of us. Some of the best food we had out whole trip. The staff we worked with was also super friendly and awesome. The only place I have to mark down is the facility its self. It very much if possible could use some refurbishment at the minimum. If you're the type that can look past a very well worn facility for some honest and fantastic soul food then do yourself a favor and give them a visit!

This was my 34th anniversary gift from my husband. I truly enjoyed it. There was do much oxtails on my plate I had enough for leftovers. Your restaurant has never disappointed me.

Food was great tried the ribs the sauce was unique and tasty meat was cooked just right very tender and moist. Tried the greens to which had a great flavor. Tried the banana pudding and peach cobbler both amazing in their own right.
